Job Description
Director of Marketing responsible for defining strategies, building a team, and driving user growth. Oversees marketing initiatives at a fast-growing marketplace connecting professionals and workplaces.
Responsibilities:
- Define What Strategies and Initiatives to Pursue.
- Build and Manage the Marketing Team, owning outputs.
- Work as a Player-Coach, executing as an individual contributor.
- Bring More Workers to Clipboard, expanding beyond per-diem nursing.
- Expand Presence with Workplaces, developing user-type specific strategies.
- Own Customer Acquisition Cost, ensuring activations drive returns.
- Up-skill the Org, setting an example of high-quality messaging.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of marketing experience with 2+ years leading marketing teams.
- Proven Success in driving tens-of-thousands of users to a product or platform.
- Customer-Centric Problem Solver, defaulting to talking to users for insights.
- Bias Towards Action, shipping campaigns versus waiting for perfect info.
- Strong Communication Skills, excelling in writing and speaking clearly.
- Analytical Expertise, building dashboards and using data for strategies.
- Deep Digital Experience from organic social and paid partnerships to SEO.
- Experienced in Team Growth, skilled in hiring and onboarding top talent.
- Confidence and Humility in making bold bets and iterating quickly.
- Comfort in Ambiguity, working in a startup environment.
