Job Description

Director of Product Management and Pricing shaping Canadian building-products portfolios for Cornerstone Building Brands. Driving pricing, lifecycle, margin, and cross-functional growth strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive product portfolio and pricing strategies across the Canadian business
  • Lead the strategic direction of the Canadian product portfolio and pricing architecture
  • Build pricing strategies that improve margin, competitiveness, and customer value
  • Establish and monitor portfolio and pricing performance metrics
  • Translate market insights and business priorities into actionable roadmaps and cohesive product solutions
  • Strengthen management of the full product lifecycle from ideation to commercialization and optimization
  • Introduce product management and pricing disciplines to improve decision-making and execution
  • Integrate product and pricing decisions into commercial and business planning
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Technical teams to identify growth opportunities
  • Lead through influence and champion cross-functional collaboration across a matrix organization
  • Ensure strategies are understood and embraced across the business
  • Build, coach, and develop a high-performing product and pricing team
  • Create a culture of accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement
  • Deliver strategies that produce measurable improvements in revenue growth, margin performance, market position, and customer value

Requirements:

  • 10+ years in product management, pricing, or related commercial leadership roles
  • Proven track record in product portfolio strategy and lifecycle management
  • Proven track record in new product development and commercialization framework (stage gate)
  • Proven track record in pricing strategy and margin improvement
  • Experience working in complex, cross-functional environments
  • Strong business and financial acumen; experience in business case modeling
  • High strategic and critical thinking ability
  • Strong data, analytical, and planning skills
  • Ability to generate data-driven insights combining quantitative and qualitative methods into actionable strategies and plans
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to provide clear and concise insights and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Ability to articulate high-level strategies into actionable team goals
  • Computer, software, and MS Office skills necessary to support the role
  • Industry experience in building products is an asset
  • Ability to lead with curiosity and humility
  • Ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to simplify complexity and focus on impact
  • Ability to differentially manage efforts in a complex, competitive, fast-moving environment and guide teams through ambiguity
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time
