Job Description
Director of Revenue Management at West Virginia University leading the Revenue Management unit within Enrollment Management. Overseeing financial account operations and ensuring compliance and strategic leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Leads the Revenue Management unit within Enrollment Management
- Provides strategic leadership and oversight for all student financial account operations
- Ensures accurate, timely, and compliant administration of student accounts
- Directs and manages all student accounts functions
- Coordinates and consults with University leaders to achieve desired financial objectives
- Creates reports and forecasts for University-wide decisions on cash flow
- Monitors student accounts receivable and implements strategies to reduce outstanding balances
- Responsible for the accounting interface of student financial data
- Prepares Student Accounts Receivables dashboard reporting for presentations to senior management
- Oversees payment processing systems and manages a team of professional staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in a highly automated, fast paced, data driven, and stressful service work environment
- Experience working in higher education, specifically in a student services related area with responsibility for positive outcomes
- Experience with advanced financial systems software as well as a student information system, preferably Banner
- Supervisory or management experience
