Job Description

Director, Sales responsible for driving B2B sales in the solar and energy storage market. Leading sales efforts in the DACH & NL regions with a focus on customer success and team collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Sell & Lead with dedication - Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing.
  • Leverage Your Network - Bring and expand your own strong portfolio of installer and distribution network and relationships to accelerate market reach and sales velocity.
  • Champion Customer Excellence - Place the customer at the center of everything. Understand their needs, deliver outstanding service, and build long-term trust and loyalty.
  • Drive Revenue Growth - Develop and execute strategic sales & business plans to consistently exceed revenue targets.
  • Position with Authority - Confidently communicate the value proposition of our storage solutions, technically and commercially.
  • Collaborate Internally - Partner closely with internal teams—including marketing, operations, product, and executive leadership to deliver an aligned, best-in-class customer experience.
  • Represent Eternal Planet - Act as the face of the company at industry events, trade fairs, and customer engagements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in B2B sales in solar, energy storage, or cleantech
  • A robust personal network of EPCs, installers, and partners ready to engage
  • Strong sales track record, with clear evidence of independently closing complex, high-value deals
  • Deep technical knowledge of residential battery storage systems (string inverter experience is a plus)
  • Fluency in German and English, with strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Entrepreneurial, hands-on mindset with a passion for customer success
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to engage across all organizational levels
  • Strong team player with a focus on internal collaboration to ensure alignment and efficiency across departments
