Job Description

Regional sales executive leading distributor-driven growth for good2grow, a children’s beverage company. Managing teams, P&L, forecasting, retail execution, and strategic customer relationships across the North region.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a large, multi-level regional sales team through a direct store delivery distributor network
  • Drive good2grow sales and growth across the assigned geography
  • Execute the business plan and achieve assigned targets and objectives
  • Drive distributor operational excellence across existing and new business
  • Lead relationships with distributor brand managers, sales leaders, and ownership
  • Develop and maintain relationships with good2grow account teams and the Vice President of National Accounts
  • Develop, implement, and maintain annual distributor business planning and fiscal budgeting
  • Manage regional P&L and SG&A budgeting while delivering volume and market-share objectives
  • Lead monthly and quarterly joint business alignment meetings and review KPIs and scorecards
  • Own accurate and timely sales forecasting for the assigned region and customers
  • Lead distributor training, sales meeting presentations, distributor work-withs, and senior-level meetings
  • Lead customer-focus processes and resolve customer problems in partnership with cross-functional teams
  • Develop larger chains, local chains, and independent markets
  • Penetrate new and void accounts using good2grow data, analytics, and distributor resources
  • Increase store presence through shelving and multiple points of interruption
  • Grow the number of good2grow SKUs available in the market
  • Develop selling skills within the team and manage third-party broker resources
  • Drive team usage of VIP Karma and Microsoft Viva Engage to track and execute store visits
  • Coordinate promotional execution, distribution opportunities, Attack and Defend reporting, and store-level objectives
  • Collaborate with National Accounts, Business Insights and Analytics, Finance, Customer Service, and Trade Accounting
  • Direct and manage employee activity; coach, mentor, and develop staff
  • Conduct performance reviews and individual development plans
  • Foster teamwork, inclusion, and collaboration through regular meetings and leadership by example
  • Complete administrative duties, communication recaps, distributor follow-ups, and weekly regional communications
  • Manage chargebacks, deductions, unsalable products, logistics, expenses, POS inventory, scorecards, and planner updates
  • Lead special projects and initiatives as assigned

Requirements:

  • Candidates must reside in TN, NC, VA, WV, PA, DC, MD, DE, NJ, CT, RI, NY, MA, NH, VT, or ME
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 15+ years of sales, merchandising, direct store delivery, or supplier sales experience
  • Consumer packaged goods industry experience preferred
  • 5+ years of sales leadership experience leading a multi-level team
  • Strong analytical mindset, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to influence and communicate clearly and concisely across varying audiences
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Time management and project management skills
  • High level of organization, enthusiasm, and attention to detail
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office
  • Skilled at presenting in front of groups and senior leadership
  • Strong background in data analysis
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time
  • Beverage industry experience preferred
  • Experience with Direct Store Delivery Systems preferred
  • National Key Account experience preferred
