Job Description
Enterprise Account Executive for Tulip, responsible for SaaS sales to retailers. Engaging with leading retail brands to drive revenue and build partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Drive sales of the Tulip solution to achieve quota; accountable for meeting or exceeding assigned sales objectives on a quarterly and annual basis
- Develop and execute business plan, account plans, strategy and tactics to generate revenue from assigned geographical territory and/or account base within North America
- Develop customer specific value propositions, business cases, and ROI
- Understand customer’s business objectives and be able to align the Tulip solution to their problems ensuring Tulip is viewed as a strategic partner to help them meet these goal
- Responsible for annual and quarterly strategic business plan to achieve Tulip sales objectives
- Develop sales initiatives and work cross-functionally within Tulip and our extended partner community to execute sales programs with excellence
- Educate customers on the Tulip solution and the value it brings to a large retail organization
- Engage executives in targeted retail accounts and help them along a buying process
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects using Salesforce and other tools
- Negotiate complex multi-phased deals including professional services
Requirements:
- 5+ years previous enterprise SaaS sales experience
- Proven track record of sourcing and executing deals to enterprise customers in a complex sales environment with deal sizes (ACVs) $150K+
- Prior experience selling software to retail, e.g. eCommerce, POS, OMS, RFID, Store Operations, OmniChannel etc.
- Ambition and hunger to win deals and a track record of exceeding quota
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven experience presenting to executive audiences
- Knowledge of CRM and Sales tools including Salesforce and 6sense
- Willingness to travel (10-20%) for sales meetings, conferences and interactions with customers and prospects
- Nice to have - fluency or native proficiency in Spanish.
