Job Description

Estimator preparing accurate end-to-end quotes for custom kitchens, cabinetry and joinery. Calculating materials, hardware, finishes and installation pricing for Australian residential and commercial projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Review joinery plans and drawings, including cabinet details, dimensions, finishes and colour selections
  • Calculate lineal metres and quantities from supplied drawings
  • Price colours and finishes using supplied price lists
  • Price hardware and componentry
  • Price installation for each job
  • Prepare full material and finishes schedules for each project
  • Produce complete, itemised end-to-end quotes using business templates
  • Raise gaps or inconsistencies in drawings early to maintain pricing accuracy
  • Keep quoting records and pricing information organised

Requirements:

  • Philippines-based candidate
  • 2–3+ years of proven estimating experience in kitchens, cabinetry, or joinery manufacturing
  • Confident reading and interpreting joinery drawings and shop plans, including measurements and detailing
  • Strong numeracy skills and a methodical approach to takeoffs and quantities
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong written and spoken English
  • Self-managed working style, with ability to own a process and deliver without close supervision
  • Reliable internet connection and own computer setup
  • Experience with Cabinet Vision or similar cabinetry design and estimating software (preferred/nice-to-have)
  • Previous experience supporting Australian joinery, cabinetry, or building businesses (preferred/nice-to-have)
  • Must disclose existing ongoing roles or client work
  • Must reflect this engagement on LinkedIn as “Independent Contractor”
