Job Description

Field Sales Manager driving beverage brand growth and distributor execution for Mark Anthony Group. Managing retail execution, wholesaler programs, budgets, and brand standards in Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of MABI brands in the assigned market
  • Oversee and implement distributor planning, programming, and account execution
  • Deliver the annual sales plan in the assigned market
  • Act as the conduit for distributor functions relating to Company business
  • Execute all aspects of the sales plan with the distributor network
  • Present brand plans, pricing and promotion, and programming according to business-plan parameters
  • Monitor and analyze assigned territory budgets
  • Communicate consistently with distributors, monitor product levels, and increase shipments and depletions
  • Plan and manage WABP
  • Execute brand standards at market level, including pricing, shelf placement, cold box placement, display, draft, and bottle placement
  • Monitor and track marketing programs
  • Control operating and A&P expenses and manage budgets appropriately
  • Potentially manage direct reports depending on market size
  • Keep abreast of competitive trends and report developments
  • Manage retail execution, surveying, distribution, display, and ad-feature execution
  • Evaluate Retail Manager selling skills
  • Manage wholesaler issues and meetings, including programming, pricing, forecasting, product launches, ABP meetings, internal wholesaler issues, kick-off meetings, and POS management
  • Complete monthly administrative requirements, including forecasting, fiscal responsibility, distribution tracking, program execution tracking, performance management, and local initiatives

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of sales experience
  • 3+ years’ experience working with distributors/wholesalers
  • 3+ years’ experience in the beverage category
  • Strong analytical and math skills for budgeting and analysis
  • Microsoft Office proficiency, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, with ability to develop and present
  • Ability to travel as necessary
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
