Job Description
Field Service Engineer maintaining TOMRA Food’s sensor-based sorting systems in France. Installing, repairing, optimizing, and training customers on industrial food-processing equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver field service work efficiently to meet cost and time objectives
- Ensure optimal performance of TOMRA Food sorting machines
- Diagnose and resolve equipment issues and conduct repairs
- Collaborate with internal departments to improve customer support processes
- Install and adjust TOMRA Food equipment
- Train customers on system operation and maintenance
- Maintain accurate field reports for administrative follow-up
- Provide commissioning, operation, testing, integration, optimisation, maintenance, training, and repair services primarily in France
- Travel domestically up to 80% of the time, with occasional international travel
Requirements:
- Technical training to BAC+2 level in Electronics, Electrotechnical, Automation, Industrial Maintenance, or related field
- Fluent in French
- Ability to understand spoken and written English at minimum B2 level
- Proven experience in on-site preventive and corrective maintenance supporting industrial customers
- Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, primarily within France, with occasional international travel or flexible working hours
- Good understanding of IT, networking, and PC configuration
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and management
- Other languages are a plus
