Job Description

Field Service Representative installing, repairing, and maintaining Beckman Coulter diagnostic systems across Ontario. Providing customer training and support while traveling throughout the assigned territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service to Beckman Coulter Diagnostics clients
  • Install and maintain diagnostic instrumentation and systems in hospital and stand-alone laboratory environments
  • Independently troubleshoot, repair, install, validate, and perform preventive maintenance on designated instrumentation
  • Complete preventive maintenance, field modifications, instrument repairs, and service documentation accurately and on time
  • Deliver technical training on diagnostic products and systems
  • Build and enhance customer relationships and become a perceived partner in customers’ businesses
  • Travel throughout the assigned district, Canada, and the surrounding territory, including Northern Ontario
  • Support customers across laboratory environments using Beckman Coulter Diagnostics systems

Requirements:

  • Technical diploma or higher in Biomedical Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of relatable experience
  • Experience using hematology
  • Field service experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record over the past three years
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time, including overnight travel within the assigned service district and occasionally to other service districts in Canada
  • Ability to lift, lower, and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted
  • Ability to travel to and from the United States
  • Valid driver’s G license
  • Meet Beckman Coulter’s safe driver criteria and Danaher Company Vehicle Policy requirements
  • Meet vendor credentialing requirements, including annual background checks, immunizations, and required training
  • Experience servicing hematology, chemistry, immunochemistry, automation, or urinalysis instrumentation is a plus
  • Experience servicing IVD instrumentation is a plus
