Job Description
Field Service Technician installing, repairing, and maintaining Diebold Nixdorf banking and retail technology at Dublin customer sites. Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues while delivering customer support.
Responsibilities:
- Install Diebold Nixdorf products and services at customer locations
- Perform scheduled maintenance, cleaning, and preventive service activities
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
- Diagnose and complete minor equipment repairs
- Configure and test PCs, peripherals, and related systems
- Replace defective components and ensure proper system functionality
- Provide technical support and maintenance to customers within the assigned territory
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Respond to customer service requests and resolve technical problems
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and service-level agreements
- Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining strong client relationships
- Support the installation, upgrade, and optimization of banking and retail technology solutions
Requirements:
- High school graduate
- Strong PC literacy and proficiency with diagnostic tools and maintenance procedures
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and perform physical tasks such as standing, climbing, bending, and stooping
- Flexibility to work shifts and participate in evening and weekend on-call rotations
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to manage and maintain inventory of vehicle stock, parts, and tools
- Strong organizational skills and professional attitude
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to meet background screening and driving record requirements
- Previous experience in a field service or mobile engineering role (desired)
