Job Description
Finance Systems Analyst at Harvey supporting and scaling core finance systems like NetSuite. Collaborating across teams to improve financial processes and ensure data integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Own and support NetSuite functionality across key areas such as GL, AP, AR, billing, and reporting, ensuring the system is reliable and aligned with business needs
- Work closely with Accounting to understand current workflows, identify inefficiencies, and convert manual processes into system-driven solutions
- Maintain and improve data integrity across finance systems by managing mappings (GL, vendors, cost centers) and resolving inconsistencies at the source
- Support billing and revenue processes by ensuring correct system behavior, especially in areas like billing schedules, adjustments, and downstream revenue impact
- Troubleshoot system and integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement scalable fixes rather than temporary workarounds
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Payroll, RevOps) to support finance-related system improvements and ensure smooth data flow across systems
Requirements:
- 4–6+ years of experience working with NetSuite or similar ERP systems in a finance or systems-focused role
- Strong understanding of accounting processes, including month-end close, AP/AR, and basic revenue concepts
- Experience working with system integrations and data flows across finance tools (e.g., expense, procurement, payroll systems)
- Ability to translate business and accounting requirements into system configurations and improvements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on identifying root causes and implementing long-term solutions
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with multiple stakeholders across finance and business teams
