Job Description
Forex Country Manager expanding DB Investing’s Malaysian market presence. Building IB partnerships, driving revenue, and leading local business development for global financial services company DB Investing.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute market strategies to strengthen DB Investing’s presence and increase market share in Malaysia
- Identify new business opportunities, drive client acquisition and develop relationships with high-net-worth individuals, institutional clients and other key market participants
- Build, manage and expand a network of Introducing Brokers (IBs), affiliates and strategic partners
- Own commercial targets, monitor market performance and implement initiatives to achieve revenue and business growth objectives
- Recruit, lead and develop a local sales and business development team
- Represent DB Investing at industry events and networking opportunities
- Work closely with HQ teams, including Marketing, Operations and Compliance, to execute local business strategies
- Ensure local business development activities comply with applicable regulatory requirements and internal compliance policies
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Forex/CFD industry with an established Forex broker
- Previous experience in a senior business development, sales management or country management position
- Strong understanding of the Malaysian Forex market, including its competitive landscape and business environment
- Established network of Introducing Brokers (IBs), affiliates and relevant industry contacts
- Demonstrated ability to generate revenue, develop partnerships and consistently achieve commercial targets
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to build and manage a high-performing team
- Strong negotiation, communication and relationship management skills
- Fluency in Malay and English
- Must be currently based in Malaysia
