Job Description
Functional Analyst optimizing Order-to-Cash processes and MS Dynamics Business Central for tonies’ interactive children’s audio platform. Supporting SAP S/4HANA transformation, testing, documentation, and US business users.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document end-to-end business workflows, especially order processing, inventory allocation, invoicing, and logistics interfaces within Order-to-Cash
- Partner with Product Owners and regional stakeholders to capture, evaluate, and prioritize operational pain points and business requests
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories for technical teams and implementation partners
- Provide second-level functional support for MS Dynamics Business Central issues, batch failures, and workflow roadblocks
- Investigate system glitches, data discrepancies, stuck orders, posting errors, and operational bottlenecks; coordinate fixes with technical engineers
- Provide real-time operational assistance to power users across Operations, Logistics, and Finance during US business hours
- Steward MS Dynamics Business Central, including configuration adjustments, light maintenance, and enhancements
- Support data cleanup, process standardization, and business readiness for the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud transformation
- Design and execute functional test plans, UAT, and end-to-end validation
- Develop SOPs, user guides, and training materials; conduct training sessions for US business teams
- Support IT audit, GRC, and internal control requirements
Requirements:
- 3–7+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst, Systems Analyst, or ERP Support Specialist within an Enterprise Applications function
- Hands-on functional and support experience with MS Dynamics Business Central required
- Experience with or exposure to SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud is a strong plus
- Deep understanding of Order-to-Cash workflows, supply chain operations, and e-commerce/retail distribution dynamics
- Strong proficiency in process mapping and modeling tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, Signavio, or BPMN
- Ability to translate complex workflows into clear, standardized process documentation
- Ability to diagnose application errors, trace data flow across integrated systems, and resolve functional ticket escalations under operational deadlines
- Willingness to balance process projects with day-to-day user support and issue resolution
- Pragmatic approach to resolving immediate operational issues and underlying root causes
- Ability to explain complex system behaviors and fixes clearly to non-technical business users
- Must reside on the US East Coast or in Boston, MA
