Job Description
Global Business Development Representative focusing on outbound lead generation for U.S. importers. Working with a U.S.-based freight forwarding client to build a strong sales pipeline.
Responsibilities:
- Execute high-volume outbound outreach via cold calls, email, and LinkedIn
- Identify and engage potential clients (U.S.-based importers)
- Research target accounts and personalize messaging
- Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of prospects
- Qualify prospects based on business needs and fit
- Clearly communicate the company’s value proposition (predictability, risk reduction)
- Schedule qualified meetings/demos for the sales team
- Follow up with prospects through structured outreach sequences
- Track all outreach activities and pipeline updates in HubSpot (preferred) or similar CRM
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and deal stages
- Manage daily tasks and follow-ups effectively
- Meet or exceed daily activity quotas (calls, emails, outreach)
- Consistently hit targets for meetings booked and pipeline generated
- Provide feedback on messaging, objections, and market response
Requirements:
- 2–5+ years of experience in SDR / BDR / outbound sales roles
- Proven experience with cold calling, email, and LinkedIn outreach
- Strong communication skills, especially with U.S.-based clients
- Proficiency in HubSpot, including workflows, automation, and CRM management.
- Ability to work in a target-driven, high-activity environment
- Strong analytical skills and a testing mindset for optimization and experimentation.
- Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain
- Experience selling to U.S. market or international clients
