Job Description

Head of Recruitment leading global talent acquisition for UMAI, a fast-growing F&B tech company. Overseeing recruitment processes and building a strong hiring pipeline.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure UMAI has the right people, in the right roles, at the right time to drive growth.
  • Lead a team of at least three recruiters and oversee the end-to-end hiring process for multiple roles across tech and non-tech functions.
  • Scout talent worldwide to grow the team and retain existing talent within UMAI.
  • Follow all steps of UMAI’s recruitment process including determining staffing needs, making job descriptions and sourcing candidates.
  • Handle interviews, prepare documentation and own recruitment projects.
  • Prepare documentation (employment contracts, reference letters, guides) and enhance UMAI’s brand through job portals and social media.
  • Support and improve UMAI’s internal brand and assist in measures regarding employee retention and development.

Requirements:

  • Needs at least 5 years of experience within Talent Acquisition preferably in KPI-driven, high-growth environments.
  • Proven experience in full-cycle recruiting, talent sourcing, and employment branding.
  • Hands-on experience managing and leading a small recruitment team.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple roles and priorities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
  • Passion for scaling teams internationally.
  • Comfortable with proactive outreach and candidate engagement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple roles simultaneously.
  • Results-driven, resilient, and comfortable working under pressure.
  • A self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
