Job Description
HPE seeks Software Engineering Resolution Engineer for its Level 3 global service HPC team. Provide support for high performance computing cluster management while collaborating with various teams across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for customer reported issues escalated to level 3 support.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, reproduce, isolate, escalate, and resolve issues.
- Facilitate high quality communication with customers.
- Work with various HPE teams, including but not limited to, HPE Level 2 support, Publications, Training, Support Planning, Testing and Development.
- Designs engineering solutions utilizing multiple engineering disciplines for products, systems, software, and solutions based on established engineering principles and in accordance with development technology practices and guidelines.
- Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
- Test and provide new system software updates and documentation via customer portal.
- Document and communicate throughout the whole process of working on an issue until closure.
Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field/discipline
- Typically, 4-6 years of technical experience, ideally in an HPC-related area
- Strong Linux knowledge and Linux administration skills and experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Linux cluster management experience is very desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
