Job Description
Workday HRIS Analyst administering benefits, payroll, and retirement systems for Sutter Health. Configuring integrations, optimizing enterprise HR technology, and supporting training and projects.
Responsibilities:
- Administer Workday with deep expertise in Benefits, Payroll, and Retirement administration within a complex enterprise environment.
- Perform advanced system configuration, integration management, and ongoing optimization of critical Workday functions.
- Deliver systems and applications that help build a high-performing team.
- Consult with customers to identify business processes or data needs addressable through technology solutions.
- Lead or contribute to determining and implementing appropriate solutions.
- Perform needs assessments for training solutions.
- Contribute to development and delivery of training.
- Lead development of data standards to achieve system goals.
- Collaborate with vendors and enterprise-wide information technology on initiatives and ongoing system use.
- Manage and participate in affiliate-specific and system-wide projects and initiatives.
- Mentor and coach team members by providing informative and positive advice.
Requirements:
- Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Management Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2 years recent relevant experience.
- General understanding of computerized information process flows and impacts across HRIS, Benefits, Compensation, Employment, and Payroll areas.
- Understanding of technology concepts, database structure, operations, and administration.
- Knowledge of report development and design.
- Knowledge of HR, Benefits, and Payroll laws, regulations, procedures, and operations if technical experience is limited.
- Knowledge of shared services center/contact center operations and associated human resource issues and solutions.
- Project management skills.
- Leadership skills, including coaching, counseling, and ongoing performance feedback.
- Ability to specify user requirements, interact with technical users, healthcare staff, and vendors, and document user needs, outcomes, and procedures.
- Training, large-group facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Verbal and written communication and listening skills.
- Ability to build and maintain internal and external client relationships.
- Ability to coordinate with human resources team members.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and determine solutions.
- Ability to identify concerns and propose solutions.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and multiple customers.
- Ability to navigate HR information management systems for analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HRIS systems, and applications.
- Ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
