Job Description
Hungarian Translator translating eCommerce marketing copy from English to Hungarian. Proofreading and preserving original meaning, format, and tone on a one-week remote project.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret written pieces from English to Hungarian while maintaining original meaning, format, and tone
- Read and thoroughly understand the context of copy
- Use specialized dictionaries and translation tools
- Proofread finished pieces of work
- Complete a quick test after submitting the application form
Requirements:
- Native Hungarian Speaker
- Availability of at least 3-5 hours a week
- Proven work experience as a Translator, Interpreter, or similar role
- Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
- Good knowledge of content editing tools
- Familiarity with translation software
- Time-management skills
- Fluent in English in addition to native Hungarian
Benefits:
- $15 - $17 per hour for the short-term (1 week) temporary project
- Compensation includes time spent researching, brainstorming, and proofreading
