Job Description
Hungarian Translator translating and proofreading English marketing copy for an eCommerce marketing agency. Short-term remote project preserving meaning, format, and tone.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret written pieces from English to Hungarian
- Maintain the original meaning, format, and tone of source materials
- Read and thoroughly understand the context of copy
- Use specialized dictionaries and translation tools
- Proofread finished pieces of work
- Complete a quick test after submitting the application form
Requirements:
- Native Hungarian Speaker
- Availability of at least 3-5 hours a week
- Proven work experience as a Translator, Interpreter, or similar role
- Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
- Good knowledge of content editing tools
- Familiarity with translation software
- Time-management skills
- Fluent in English in addition to Hungarian
Benefits:
- Hourly compensation of $15–$17 per hour for the short-term project
- Compensation includes time spent researching, brainstorming, and proofreading
