Job Description
Implementation Consultant configuring Motorola Solutions’ Noggin software for Australian customers. Gathering requirements, designing solutions, testing systems, and training clients remotely across Australia.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze customer requirements independently using solution walk-throughs, document analysis, requirements workshops, and business analysis
- Lead requirements-gathering workshops for medium to large stakeholder groups
- Guide customers through Noggin solutions and capture customization changes
- Assist customers in adopting best-practice template work package solutions
- Design solutions and determine system configuration approaches for functional requirements
- Create solution change registers and custom solution design documentation
- Document and assign configuration tasks to Configuration Analysts
- Configure all system components to construct complete sites and perform full system builds
- Conduct functional testing using test cases and test scripts
- Prepare test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Support customer defect remediation
- Deliver comprehensive product demonstrations and customer training
- Advise customers on configuration design and conduct configuration reviews
- Create customer-facing user guides and training materials
- Follow Noggin project methodology and guide Configuration Analysts on project tasks
- Maintain deep product and solution expertise
- Analyze customer, prospective customer, and partner requirements and devise solutions
- Configure customer solutions and coordinate Configuration Analysts
- Present and demonstrate Noggin products to buyers, customers, and partners
- Act as product expert in customer and partner meetings
- Assist with implementation scoping, work breakdowns, and estimations
- Serve as a first escalation point for post-project production issue troubleshooting
- Coach junior team members and assist new starters
- Conduct internal and peer reviews of junior Implementation Consultant I work
- Develop knowledge-base articles and share configuration lessons learned
- Accurately log time and achieve 75% billable utilization
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business / commerce / information technology / computer science, or equivalent qualifications or experience
- Minimum of 3 years commercial experience in business or software analysis / SaaS or other software implementation
- Experience with AI/machine learning technologies is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering and analysis
- Experience designing solutions for SaaS or other software implementation
- Experience working within project teams in a software development context
- Experience with web-based software design and usability
- Experience with product analysis for software products
- Experience with risk, crisis, incident, or emergency management systems
- Eligible and willing to get Security Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience in business-to-business software implementation
- Candidate must reside in Australia
- Ability to travel under 10%
