Job Description

Implementation Consultant delivering Chevin’s fleet-management software deployments for U.S. customers. Configuring integrations, migrating data, testing systems, and supporting customer go-lives.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and customers to deliver software implementations
  • Provide expert product knowledge from design and build through testing, go-live, and transition to Support
  • Apply best-practice implementation methodologies to configure scalable, maintainable solutions
  • Work concurrently on multiple standard and enterprise-scale implementation projects
  • Support customer data migration, including preparation, conversion, and loading into Chevin systems
  • Review proposed designs and identify opportunities for simplification and reuse
  • Estimate implementation effort and manage billable utilization targets
  • Configure, test, and deploy systems from functional and technical specifications
  • Develop SQL reports, automations, and data validation processes
  • Identify and escalate scope creep, delivery risks, and competing priorities
  • Lead sprint demonstrations and conduct customer-facing training
  • Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Create reusable configuration notes, test scripts, deployment notes, and lessons learned
  • Use approved AI tools responsibly with human review and source validation
  • Apply security-minded practices when handling customer environments, credentials, and sensitive data
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across Professional Services

Requirements:

  • Significant experience: 3+ years delivering software implementations as an Implementation Consultant
  • Experience in software implementation is essential
  • Experience in fleet or related industries is essential
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
  • Strong understanding of software deployment methodologies and system integrations
  • Knowledge of cloud-based and enterprise platforms
  • Ability to develop deep knowledge of Chevin products and translate it into customer value
  • Solid understanding of web applications and underlying architecture
  • Experience using ETL tools for data migration
  • Strong SQL skills, including moderately complex SQL Server queries
  • Front-end development skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and JSON
  • Solid understanding of APIs
  • Hands-on API testing and integration troubleshooting experience with Postman, REST APIs, OAuth/JWT authentication flows, and SQL-based validation
  • Experience working with SaaS solutions in Azure environments
  • Practical experience using approved AI tools with human-in-the-loop review
  • Self-directed, accountable approach requiring minimal supervision
  • Ability to document customer interactions and delivered solutions
  • Ability to produce clear, reusable technical documentation and implementation artifacts
  • Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Strong attention to detail and pragmatic working style
  • Security-aware mindset covering access control, credential handling, auditability, and data protection
  • Customer-focused mindset and strong interpersonal relationship-building skills
  • Ability to tailor communication to different customer technical capabilities
  • Willingness to apply for Government clearance
  • Availability for occasional planned evenings or weekends during implementation go-lives
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings, on-site implementations, demonstrations, and training
  • Bonus: SaaS SSO knowledge, fleet-management domain knowledge, C# debugging with Visual Studio, foundational programming knowledge, fleet-management experience, Oracle PL/SQL knowledge, or active/prior Government clearance
