Job Description
Customer Engineer driving datacenter, AI, and communications design wins for SiTime’s MEMS timing semiconductors. Advising system architects and translating customer needs into revenue and roadmap growth.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain deep technical relationships with system architects and technical leadership
- Serve as the primary timing expert and influence architectural decisions
- Convert opportunities into qualified design-wins by architecting optimal SiTime solutions
- Drive technical closure of pre-sale and post-sale blockers through adoption and production ramp
- Lead clock tree and system architecture discussions
- Expand SiTime’s footprint within customer platforms by identifying additional sockets
- Develop and deliver technical content, tools, and training for sales enablement
- Improve the quality and velocity of inbound support requests through structured enablement
- Translate customer requirements, system trends, and competitive insights into product roadmap and strategy inputs
- Drive alignment across product, marketing, and engineering to support long-term revenue growth
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master’s in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- 10+ years of applications and design engineering experience in datacenter, AI, networking or telecom
- Proven track record of establishing deep technical relationships with system designs and architects
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect technical solutions to customer needs
- Ability to debug and solve complex technical issues in high speed SERDES, compute, and communication systems
- Deep understanding of time synchronization architectures and systems
- Knowledge of industry standards such as GR-1244, IEEE1588/PTP, NPT, GPS/GNSS, G.8262 preferred
- Hands-on experience with timing measurement instrumentation desirable
