Job Description

Implementation Specialist managing complex cross-functional projects for Elsevier’s nursing and health education business. Coordinating implementation, stakeholders, processes, milestones, and customer outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and monitor multiple complex projects from sales through implementation
  • Communicate project status through completion
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project alignment and execution
  • Manage delivery against goals while balancing time to market, quality, and resources
  • Facilitate meetings, gather input, align expectations, and support decisions
  • Interface with Product and Support Teams on customer issues and training requirements
  • Track and report project milestones, deliverables, and KPIs
  • Develop and maintain project plans, documentation, and risk logs
  • Align deliverables and tasks with organizational vision and strategy
  • Negotiate with stakeholders and decision-makers regarding customer impact and resource allocation
  • Assess and improve processes for operational efficiency
  • Build stakeholder relationships and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle
  • Conduct post-project evaluations and provide ongoing support
  • Develop workflows and processes that turn ideas into actionable plans

Requirements:

  • Health information systems, technology, or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in project management tools preferred
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, Planner, Teams, Miro, and Confluence
  • Project delivery skills, including project planning, milestone delivery, resource management, status communication, risk management, and managing multiple projects
  • Organization/project planning, time management, and communication management skills across multiple functional groups and departments
  • Experience supporting teams in identifying, researching, and coordinating resources to troubleshoot or diagnose complex project issues
  • Interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills for senior leadership and customers
  • Ability to work in an agile working environment
