Job Description

Business Analyst focusing on integration and migration within P&C insurance. Collaborating with clients, product teams, and engineering to deliver scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Integration Analysis & Documentation: Assist in documenting integration workflows, field mappings, payload structures, and error-handling requirements. Review API documentation, webhook configurations, and event-driven specifications.
  • Data Migration Analysis & Documentation: Lead data discovery and profiling activities, and document migration scope and complexity. Build and maintain detailed data mapping documents.
  • Requirements & Functional Analysis: Participate in requirements elicitation sessions with clients and internal stakeholders. Assist in translating business requirements into user stories.

Requirements:

  • 5–8+ years of experience as a business analyst, data analyst, systems analyst, or implementation analyst in a SaaS or technology organization.
  • Hands-on experience with P&C insurance systems, ideally across policy administration, claims, underwriting, or billing.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS architectures and cloud-based technologies.
  • Deep experience with API integrations (REST/JSON), webhooks, and event-driven systems.
  • Demonstrated expertise in data mapping, migration planning, ETL workflows, and cross-system reconciliation.
  • Ability to read/use API documentation, Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI specs, and log/monitoring tools.
  • Skilled in writing clear functional specs, user stories, sequence diagrams, and workflow documentation.
  • Proficient with SQL or basic data querying for validation/troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
