Job Description

Marketing consultant supporting insurance agents, product training, and enrollment processes for Senior Market Sales. Managing agent rosters, compliance, calls, coaching, and special marketing projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote the company's product portfolio and support Marketing Departments to increase company revenue and profit
  • Develop assigned marketing plans and provide service assistance to agents
  • Handle 50–100 telephone calls per day with agencies and agents about assigned products
  • Recruit, train, service, and assist agents to maximize production
  • Assist agents with recruiting, training, contracting, certification, electronic signatures, telephonic signatures, and app-by-email issues
  • Communicate product information, rate changes, and key agent benefits
  • Monitor compliance with program reporting rules and sales requirements
  • Provide technical support training, sales and marketing coaching
  • Identify and cultivate top producers and identify problem agents
  • Recruit agents for special opportunities and alternative enrollment methods
  • Develop and maintain agent/agency team rosters and regular contact/support
  • Update and maintain Contact Management System information and task lists
  • Manage Team Roster
  • Maintain working knowledge of industry reports, lead distribution/management, incomplete contracts, certification, agent production, webinars, and SMS technology tools
  • Collaborate with staff on internal and external committees and special projects
  • Perform other duties assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing or a related field
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Three (3) or more years of general insurance industry or related-field experience
  • Life/Health Insurance license
  • Working knowledge of insurance services industries and assigned product lines
  • Knowledge of industry procedures, practices, and terminology
  • Inbound and outbound caller/customer service skills
  • Negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Office equipment proficiency
  • Time management, organization, project management, and attention-to-detail skills
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and MS Outlook
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work professionally with varied personalities and difficult situations
  • Ability to persuade and maintain effective relationships
  • Ability to maintain company confidentiality and safety policies
  • Ability to contribute to a team and work independently
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and make decisions
  • Ability to self-start and complete goals within given timeframes
  • Effective English reading, writing, and communication required
  • Bilingual Spanish and English preferred
