Job Description

IT Operations Automation Engineer developing automation solutions for Hopper's IT Operations. Building critical platforms and collaborating with stakeholders on improvement processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Platform development: Build and maintain critical automation platforms, such as an Automation Service Gateway, to standardize the exposure and security of IT services.
  • Operational innovation: Proactively identify automation opportunities and develop new processes following development, testing, and deployment best practices.
  • Strategic partnership: Collaborate with stakeholders to replace manual workflows with scalable, standards-compliant systems.
  • Advanced technical support: Provide L2 and L3 support and troubleshooting, coordinating with vendors and internal teams during technical escalations.

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience scripting with Python, Terraform, or Bash.
  • Strong understanding of GCP (Google Cloud Platform), Okta (API and Orchestrator), and Google Workspace.
  • Proficiency in software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, and source control management.
