Job Description

Senior Advisor leading complex programs improving operational performance at The Cigna Group. Collaborating across clinical, technology, and operations teams for meaningful outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end program execution across complex initiatives, ensuring delivery meets quality, timeline, and performance expectations
  • Establish and evolve governance frameworks that enable clear oversight, decision-making, and accountability
  • Translate operational, claims, and performance data into actionable insights that inform strategy and improve outcomes
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that streamline workflows, reduce inefficiencies, and enhance scalability
  • Proactively identify risks and lead cross-functional resolution efforts, including root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Partner with clinical, IT, and operations teams to implement solutions and ensure successful adoption of new processes and tools
  • Oversee reporting strategy and delivery, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and value for stakeholders and clients
  • Support client and stakeholder engagement through high-quality deliverables and effective communication
  • Lead special projects and enterprise initiatives that support operational excellence and business priorities

Requirements:

  • 10 or more years of experience in operations, program or project management, process improvement, data analysis, or a related field
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience performing root cause analysis
  • Experience building governance structures and managing operational performance
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly to a range of audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment with a focus on results
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (preferred)
  • Experience working in healthcare, pharmacy, or regulated environments (preferred)
  • Familiarity with large-scale operational transformations or system implementations (preferred)
  • Experience supporting client-facing operations or reporting functions (preferred)
