Job Description

Junior Support Technician at Quality Digital providing IT solutions and troubleshooting support for diverse IT challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Log and manage tickets, handling 1st and 2nd level requests;
  • Provide support for operating systems and software installation, Microsoft Office suite, networks, printers and peripherals, as well as maintenance of desktops and laptops;
  • Perform directory mapping, configure email (POP/Exchange), Lotus Notes, set up user profiles, install VPN, and configure IP settings;
  • Monitor, respond to, and update tickets in the queue to prevent backlogs that could compromise the project's SLA, and minimize the number of outstanding tickets;
  • Create and maintain knowledge base articles, procedures, support scripts, and troubleshooting documentation in the KCS portal.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • Knowledge of network troubleshooting, microcomputing, software and hardware, service desk tools, operating systems, and Microsoft Office
  • Currently pursuing a university degree in a Technology-related field
