Job Description
Key Account Manager responsible for nurturing large automotive client relationships at BERNER. Develop and implement account strategies to drive revenue growth and market presence from remote base.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and expand long-term strategic partnerships with major customers in the automotive sector (passenger cars and commercial vehicles)
- Manage and further develop existing key accounts at management and executive levels
- Identify and win new strategic customers and build sustainable business relationships
- Develop and implement tailored account strategies and customer development plans to sustainably increase revenue and margins
- Direct and coordinate collaboration between key account management, regional sales and internal specialist departments to successfully implement group-wide solutions
- Analyze customer potential, identify growth opportunities and continuously advance our market position
- Monitor market and competitor developments and derive strategic measures
- Work closely with our Key Account Support and other interfaces to ensure successful implementation of customer projects
Requirements:
- Completed commercial training, a degree in business administration or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience in key account management or strategic sales, ideally in the automotive or workshop environment
- Proven track record in developing and expanding major customer relationships as well as negotiating with decision-makers at management level
- Experience in strategic customer development and in implementing growth and development plans
- Strong communication and negotiation skills and a confident presence at all hierarchy levels
- Analytical and commercial mindset, particularly when evaluating revenue potential, pricing structures and margin development
- High initiative, a structured working style and strong customer orientation
- High willingness to travel within your assigned territory
