Job Description

Key Account Manager developing strategic critical-infrastructure accounts for Securitas Technology. Selling compliant fire, intrusion, video-surveillance, access-control, and perimeter-security solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, develop, and expand strategic existing customers in the critical infrastructure (KRITIS) sector
  • Acquire new customers and build sustainable customer relationships
  • Advise decision-makers, operators, specialist planners, and general contractors on complex security solutions
  • Analyze customer requirements and develop standards-compliant security concepts
  • Design and sell fire alarm systems (FAS), intrusion alarm systems (IAS), video surveillance systems, access control systems, as well as perimeter protection and security management systems
  • Prepare and present quotations, and support tenders and procurement procedures
  • Lead contract and price negotiations at management level
  • Take responsibility for revenue, margin, and growth targets within the customer portfolio
  • Monitor relevant market, technology, and critical-infrastructure developments
  • Work closely with Engineering, Project Management, and Service to ensure the successful implementation of customer projects

Requirements:

  • Completed technical or commercial training, or an equivalent qualification
  • Several years of experience in technical sales, key account management, or project business within the security technology sector
  • Good knowledge of one or more of the following areas: fire alarm systems, intrusion detection, video surveillance, or access control
  • Experience preparing and presenting technical solution concepts
  • Knowledge of relevant security technology standards and guidelines, such as DIN 14675, DIN VDE 0833, or VdS guidelines
  • Ideally, experience in critical infrastructure environments and knowledge of current regulatory requirements, such as NIS2
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Structured and self-directed approach to work
  • Willingness to travel throughout Germany
  • Class B driving licence
  • Excellent written and spoken German
