Job Description
Lead technician testing and maintaining Honeywell combustion systems. Diagnosing field issues and supporting customers across extensively traveling assignments.
Responsibilities:
- Perform testing, maintenance, and preventative maintenance of combustion systems and equipment at customer sites after Honeywell-specific training
- Identify and resolve technical issues to ensure safe system performance, efficiency, and reliability
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers in the field
- Document service activities and maintain accurate work records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement and customer satisfaction initiatives
- Travel extensively to customer locations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in field service or technical support roles
- 3+ years of technical knowledge and experience with electronic, mechanical, or software systems relevant to Honeywell products
- PLC knowledge is a plus
- 3+ years of experience inspecting complex technical equipment
- Experience using diagnostic tools and service management software tools
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness and ability to travel 70% to 80% to customer sites domestically and occasionally internationally
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, or related technical field preferred
- Experience working in industrial or commercial service environments
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in field assignments
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
