Job Description

Cisco sales leader driving Splunk software growth for US Army and DoD customers. Leading enterprise sales teams, revenue targets, and federal defense account strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the PBST US Army sales team and collaborate with technical resources and inside sales
  • Deliver license, support, and service revenue targets on schedule
  • Map territories, plan accounts, and manage opportunities
  • Negotiate pricing and business terms with large commercial enterprises
  • Work with inside sales and partners to maximize efficiency
  • Leverage sales engineering, in-house services, and partner services resources
  • Participate hands-on in account planning, strategy, and sales calls
  • Hire a team aligned with company growth
  • Apply sales methodologies and processes effectively
  • Coordinate international and domestic colleagues to expand deal size and customer value
  • Maintain timely two-way information flow and efficient resource deployment
  • Provide timely input to product management, marketing, and other corporate functions

Requirements:

  • 4 or more years’ experience as a first-line manager of software sales teams
  • Minimum 5 years of direct quota-carrying software or SaaS enterprise sales experience selling to large enterprise or Public Sector accounts
  • Minimum 3 years of direct sales experience selling software, cybersecurity, observability, data analytics, or cloud solutions to the US Federal Government / Department of Defense
  • Experience managing cross-functional field execution involving Account Executives, Systems Engineers, and channel partner ecosystems
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 40–50% within the assigned territory
  • Active US Government Security Clearance (Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI), or eligibility and willingness to obtain and maintain one
  • 2+ years of second-line sales management experience preferred
  • Active Top Secret / TS/SCI clearance with a current background investigation preferred
  • Established executive relationships with US Army / DoD procurement commands and major defense systems integrators preferred
  • Direct domain and technical sales leadership experience in observability, SIEM, SecOps, or log analytics technologies preferred
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise CRM and sales analytics platforms such as Salesforce or Clari preferred
