Job Description
Litigation Paralegal summarizing medical records, bills, and chronologies for Kubicki Draper, a Florida law firm. Supporting attorneys, clients, carriers, and counsel in civil litigation.
Responsibilities:
- Summarize medical records, bills, and supporting documents
- Create medical chronologies and bill summaries
- Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and counsel in a team environment
- Use Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Adobe, and Excel
Requirements:
- 3+ years of civil litigation experience required
- Experience with medical summaries and bill summaries required
- Prior experience in insurance defense litigation, bodily injury, and/or general liability preferred
- Basic medical knowledge is a plus
- Prior experience reviewing and summarizing medical records and bills preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Working knowledge of Florida Court procedures preferred
- Competence in Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Adobe, and Excel
- Task-oriented
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, friendly environment
- Must be a current resident of Florida
