Job Description
Remote Locums Recruiter recruiting and placing healthcare professionals for U.S. assignments. Building candidate pipelines, negotiating rates, and managing client and HCP relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit and place assigned or referred healthcare professionals (HCPs) on assignments throughout the United States
- Develop and maintain a qualified HCP pool within the designated specialty
- Coordinate candidate presentations with account personnel based on client needs
- Build long-term relationships with HCPs for ongoing assignment opportunities
- Recruit viable HCPs through referrals, conferences, working personnel, and former candidates
- Sell current and upcoming locum opportunities and submit qualified candidates for open positions
- Build an active foundation of working HCPs and a pipeline of prospective business
- Screen and evaluate candidates according to company and client standards
- Maintain required monthly submissions, candidate presentations, and outbound calls
- Communicate assignment details including compensation, travel, housing, professional liability, and orientation
- Respond to candidate questions and process timesheets
- Maintain candidate and HCP information, sales pitches, and communications in the ATS
- Attach all required documents in the ATS
- Develop marketing paths to attract candidates who convert to working HCPs
- Negotiate rates to maintain acceptable margins
- Meet individualized annual gross revenue goals
- Forecast seasonal and industry downturns and develop strategies to address market changes
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and follow up as needed
- Provide timely customer service and resolve issues according to company standards
- Attend conventions, conferences, workshops, and other industry events as needed
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including inside/outside sales, sourcing, qualifying, networking, and relationship building, or equivalent sales experience
- Preferably experience in a healthcare staffing environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel with pivot tables and formulas, Calendar, and Teams
- Experience with Windows-based database systems
- Excellent interpersonal, phone presentation, and customer service skills
- Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Ability to problem-solve and negotiate rates
- Strong written, verbal, and phone communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or a similar discipline preferred, or equivalent combination of education and sufficient experience to perform the job functions
