Job Description

Manager of Instructional Technology Development leading high-performing L&D teams at TD. Responsible for learning solutions to build capabilities for leaders and employees consistent with TD's objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Coach and manage a team of expert Developers
  • Collaborate and consult with Learning Solutions Architect partners
  • Participate and partner with peers in the Design team
  • Build development expertise and learning consulting capability within the team
  • Be a champion of innovative thinking
  • Work closely with key business leaders to develop business plan
  • Manage development budget and vendors
  • Provide deep subject matter expertise in learning design and development
  • Monitor and communicate the effectiveness of strategies

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree is required
  • Post graduate education in Adult Learning & Development or Instructional Design is preferred
  • Certification in Instructional Design/Instructional Technology/Human Performance Technology is an asset
  • Experience with Accessible Design following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) is preferred
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems, Articulate Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office Suite is preferred
  • 7+ years related experience
