Job Description
Senior Manager Partner Enablement at Akamai focusing on Cloud Computing partner strategies. Designing onboarding and managing enablement programs for improved partner readiness and success.
Responsibilities:
- Shaping and evolving Akamai's global partner enablement strategy focusing on Cloud Computing.
- Collaboration across teams to ensure priorities align and execution is effective.
- Improving partner readiness and driving successful business outcomes.
- Designing role-based onboarding and certification paths tailored to partner types.
- Managing key enablement platforms including PRM, Partner Portal, Demo Center, LMS, and Test Accounts.
- Building scalable partner journeys that reduce ramp time and support cloud growth.
- Measuring enablement effectiveness and using insights to improve partner adoption and readiness.
Requirements:
- Have 7+ years in partner enablement, channel programs, or technical marketing and a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Understand partner business models such as VARs, Distributors, SIs, Services Partners, Cloud Compute partners, Security partners, and MSSPs
- Demonstrate practical expertise with PRM, LMS, Partner Portal, demo, or credentialing and skill validation platforms
- Demonstrate business expertise, strategic insight, and effective decision-making in dynamic, collaborative environments.
- Leverage data effectively to inform enablement decisions and demonstrate measurable business outcomes.
- Communicate effectively across global teams, building influence, alignment, and operational focus
