Job Description
Manager IT Applications overseeing Epic Welcome applications at Advocate Health. Responsible for system planning, development, and ensuring effective operational leadership in application areas.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and operation of applications within application scope
- Ensures that applications are designed and interfaced in a manner that satisfies users
- Leads multiple projects in all aspects of information systems lifecycle
- Performs human resources responsibilities for staff including interviewing and selection of new employees
- Develops and recommends operating and capital budgets and controls expenditures within approved budget objectives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
- 3 years of experience in information systems, solution design, systems development, implementation, and installation
- 1 year of management experience in project management
- Experience with systems design and development from business requirements analysis through day-to-day management
- Advanced project management skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees
