Job Description

Commercial Technology Manager optimizing the tech ecosystem to enhance commercial operations in a healthcare organization. Leading projects from concept through execution for efficient revenue growth and retention.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the strategic owner of the commercial technology ecosystem, ensuring systems are scalable, well-integrated, and aligned to business strategy
  • Drive strategic projects that create meaningful improvements in commercial process efficiency and efficacy from concept through execution, including requirements gathering, system design, testing, and rollout
  • Define and optimize the commercial systems architecture, including integrations, data flows, automation, and governance across platforms to maximize system value
  • Own sales process design from a systems and workflow perspective, ensuring technology enables streamlined execution and data integrity
  • Design and implement scalable reporting infrastructure enhancements, including dashboards, data models, and automated reporting to support forecasting, performance tracking, and strategic decision-making
  • Develop and execute commercial analytics strategies, including sales targeting, segmentation, pre-sales discovery, and marketing performance measurement
  • Partner with Growth, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance, and Data teams to translate business requirements into new technical solutions, ensuring alignment between systems and operational needs
  • Identify gaps and risks in current systems and proactively explore, test, and recommend new technologies and capabilities to enhance commercial effectiveness
  • Lead vendor management for commercial technologies, including performance monitoring, and contract optimization
  • Evaluate, implement, and optimize commercial technologies, ensuring strong adoption, ROI, and integration within the broader tech stack
  • Enable Commercial teams through training, documentation and change management to maximize adoption and effective use of tools
  • Collaborate with Revenue Operations to sustain a high performing commercial technology infrastructure
  • Present technical concepts, system strategies, and analytical insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, across all levels of leadership

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations or revenue operations roles
  • Deep understanding of commercial systems architecture, integrations and data flows across platforms
  • Familiarity with healthcare buying dynamics of health plans and provider organizations
  • Strong analytical and data acumen with the ability to turn data-based recommendations into scalable technology solutions that drive measured business outcomes
  • Track record of driving continuous improvement through commercial process and technology enhancements
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create polished and clear messages appropriate for all levels of internal stakeholders, across technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven ability to synthesize stakeholder perspectives, sales + customer success best practices, and commercial technology into optimal systems requirements and design
  • Experience deploying new commercial systems and system changes, including change management, training, and support
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to professional, high-quality deliverables
  • Demonstrated self-starter with strong planning, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to drive continued improvement in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment
  • Experience working within a healthcare technology organization
