Job Description

Hilton hospitality sales manager developing corporate accounts and growing hotel revenue across Mexico. Managing regional partnerships, contracts, quotas, and sales reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new accounts and solicit new customer relationships while growing existing relationships
  • Improve revenue, grow Hilton’s market share, and facilitate annual contracting processes
  • Serve as the main contact for the assigned account roster, keeping hotels and brand representatives informed
  • Lead account management and development for geographically segmented accounts
  • Solicit, qualify, generate, and convert new business for Mexico hotels from local accounts
  • Develop overall account planning strategy to facilitate growth
  • Negotiate business travel sales contracts with corporate accounts and understand local contracting, RFP processes, terminology, and reporting
  • Introduce clients during sales calls, tradeshows, conventions, and local events
  • Assist hotels with conflict resolution, contract negotiation, business/revenue needs, and closing sales
  • Represent the Mexico Area Sales Team at FAM trips, travel and domestic tradeshows, and industry events
  • Identify hotel priorities and maintain hotel relationships
  • Produce predetermined annual revenue in rooms, meetings, and food and beverage
  • Achieve booked domestic revenue quotas and agreed sales competencies
  • Maintain Salesforce/MicroStrategy reports, including call reports, meeting profiles, history, and traces
  • Submit monthly and ad hoc reports and complete projects and deliverables by due dates

Requirements:

  • Four (4) years of professional experience
  • Three (3) years of direct sales experience in the hospitality or travel industry
  • Experience prospecting and account development
  • Negotiation and sales skills
  • Spanish and English fluency (oral and written)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Web-Ex
  • Based or willing to relocate to Chihuahua, MX
  • Travel up to 20%
  • Experience using Salesforce and MicroStrategy would be useful
  • Willingness to travel to the United States would be useful
