Job Description
Field marketing expert designing realistic task environments for Mercor’s AI training projects. Evaluating agent performance across events, pipeline recovery, sponsorships, and multi-tool workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Design task briefs based on real field marketing or events experience
- Identify what each task tests, including planted issues and decisions a strong practitioner should make
- Specify required documents, dashboards, personas, and tool states for realistic tasks
- Write or review reference answers and criteria distinguishing strong responses from plausible-but-wrong ones
- Review AI agent attempts and evaluate them against practitioner standards
- Work on tasks involving diagnosis of messy or conflicting data, prioritization, tradeoffs, planning, execution, QA, reconciliation, triage, escalation, research, evaluation, reporting, and multi-tool orchestration
- Develop environments covering event follow-up, sponsorship decisions, regional pipeline recovery, and joint planning against a named account list
- Help train and enhance AI systems for Mercor's AI lab and enterprise partners
Requirements:
- Hands-on practitioner experience in field marketing or events
- Experience running a region against a sales number, beyond executing logistics
- Comfortable using a CRM such as Salesforce
- Comfortable using a project tracker such as Asana or Linear
- Prior experience building AI training environments, RL environments, or simulated case studies strongly preferred
- Rubric Academy or Rubric Bootcamp certification strongly preferred
- Clear written reasoning and ability to explain why a decision is right
- Must complete a short multiple-choice knowledge screener specific to the sub-domain
- Independent contractor engagement
- H1-B and STEM OPT candidates are not supported
