Job Description
Lifecycle marketing expert designing simulated environments to evaluate AI agents on real CRM and retention work. Creating briefs, rubrics, and reference answers for Mercor’s AI training projects.
Responsibilities:
- Design task briefs based on real lifecycle or CRM marketing work, including the planted issue and the decision a strong practitioner should reach
- Specify the documents, dashboards, personas and tool states required for realistic tasks
- Write or review reference answers and criteria distinguishing strong responses from plausible-but-wrong ones
- Review AI agent attempts and evaluate them against practitioner standards
- Develop and pressure-test Lifecycle environments for simulated marketing organizations
- Address tasks involving diagnosis of messy or conflicting data, prioritization and tradeoffs, planning and execution, QA and reconciliation, triage and escalation, research and evaluation, reporting, and multi-step orchestration across tools
- Work within contact strategy, milestone campaigns, customer communications, deliverability and list health, and lifecycle portfolio optimization
Requirements:
- Hands-on practitioner experience in lifecycle, CRM or retention marketing
- Experience owning the sending program and its incrementality
- Comfortable working across an ESP, a CRM such as Salesforce, and product analytics such as Amplitude
- Prior experience building AI training environments, RL environments or simulated case studies strongly preferred
- Rubric Academy or Rubric Bootcamp certification strongly preferred
- Clear written reasoning and ability to explain why a decision is right
- Must complete a short multiple-choice knowledge screener specific to this sub-domain
- Must work as an independent contractor
- Unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates at this time
