Job Description
Social media expert designing and evaluating simulated marketing environments for Mercor, which partners with AI labs to train frontier models. Creating realistic briefs, rubrics, and agent evaluations.
Responsibilities:
- Design task briefs based on actual social media work, including the issue being tested and the decision a strong practitioner should reach
- Specify the documents, dashboards, personas, and tool states required for realistic tasks
- Write or review reference answers and criteria distinguishing strong responses from plausible-but-wrong ones
- Review AI agent attempts and evaluate them against professional standards
- Work on tasks involving diagnosis of messy or conflicting data, prioritization, tradeoffs, planning, execution, QA, reconciliation, triage, escalation, research, evaluation, reporting, and multi-tool orchestration
- Design and pressure-test Social Media environments
- Cover social inbox management, campaign and publishing execution, share-of-voice analysis, and response judgment calls for owned brand channels
- Collaborate with leading researchers on AI training projects
Requirements:
- Hands-on practitioner experience running brand social; owned the account and inbox
- Fluent in a social management platform such as Sprout Social
- Comfortable reading native platform analytics
- Prior experience building AI training environments, RL environments, or simulated case studies strongly preferred
- Rubric Academy or Rubric Bootcamp certification strongly preferred
- Clear written reasoning
- Must complete a short multiple-choice knowledge screener specific to the social media sub-domain
- Must work as an independent contractor
- Mercor cannot support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates at this time
