Job Description
Marketing Manager providing strategic leadership for agronomic education and event programming at WinField United Canada. Collaborating with various departments to ensure effective agronomic communications and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Provides strategic leadership for agronomic education, event programming, and content development
- Owns the strategy, planning, execution oversight, and continuous improvement of agronomic education programs, product guides, agronomic communications, and industry event participation
- Works in close partnership with Sales, Marketing, Agronomy, Product Management, and Supplier Partners
- Ensures agronomic messaging is aligned, accurate, commercially relevant, and delivered consistently across internal and external channels
- Aligns closely with the Marketing Director and Marketing Strategy Manager
- Collaborates and directs the Events Marketing Specialist
- Delivers high-quality events, educational programming, and agronomic marketing outcomes that support business growth
- Combines strategic thinking, agronomic understanding, project leadership, and content stewardship to strengthen market presence and customer value proposition
Requirements:
- University degree in business, marketing, agronomy, plant sciences, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, agronomy, sales, business development, or related disciplines, preferably in agriculture
- Strong understanding of agronomic communication and educational programming
- Demonstrated project leadership across multiple stakeholders and initiatives
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning capability
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
