Job Description
Patient Engagement Manager for Innovative Medicine at Johnson & Johnson. Engaging patients in neuroscience and rare diseases strategies to shape health outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to engage patient-focused constituents
- Build and implement strategic patient engagement plans
- Counsel and support cross-functional partners on patient engagement
- Develop and maintain collaborative networks with patient organizations
- Lead and model effective patient engagement
- Monitor metrics, track progress related to short-term and long-term business goals
- Develop, communicate, and track budgets
- Administrative activities related to contracting with Patient Organizations
Requirements:
- University degree preferably in life sciences, health promotion/policy, business or political science
- Deep knowledge of the Canadian healthcare system and public health environment
- Proven experience in external, stakeholder-facing roles within the pharmaceutical industry, not-for-profit sector, or health policy sector
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Canadian pharmaceutical industry, specifically in patient-focused engagement, market access, health policy and advocacy roles, or related industry experience
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to influence without authority
- A strategic self-starter, who can work independently and embraces working within a matrixed organization
- Fluency in French will be considered a strong asset
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
