Job Description
National Sales Training Manager developing training programs for SIGVARIS, a global compression-solution provider. Supporting field sales and customer accounts through product education, demonstrations, and virtual/instructor-led training.
Responsibilities:
- Creates, develops, and implements training modules for the field sales team and customer accounts, including new hire and product training
- Develops and implements the annual sales training plan using the SMART format
- Collaborates with field sales, marketing, national accounts, and customer service on competitive insights, market trends, and product innovation/launches
- Develops content and conducts interactive training for national and regional key accounts
- Produces content to increase SIGVARIS brand awareness in line with corporate guidelines
- Identifies training needs and gaps with the Director of Sales and Regional Sales Managers
- Provides product demonstrations to influence account purchasing decisions
- Plans, develops content for, and executes National and Regional Sales Meetings
- Attends and assists with regional/national tradeshows, conferences, and meetings
- Develops and leads virtual and instructor-led training across multiple digital platforms
- Creates and uses video-editing software/apps and streams live training modules when applicable
- Promotes SIGVARIS corporate values and company culture internally and externally
- Communicates with all levels and departments and maintains timely communication with internal and external customers
- Follows company, industry, ISO, 6S, Lean Manufacturing, legal, work instruction, quality system, and quality policy requirements
- Performs other assigned duties to support efficient workflow
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a sales trainer
- Training experience with medical compression therapy and products preferred but not required
- Thorough knowledge of venous disease and the lymphedema and lipedema markets preferred but not required
- Experience creating training modules using different LMS
- Ability to create and execute annual sales training plans and develop training programs
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong customer-facing skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to listen and ability to think creatively and innovatively
- Budget-management skills and proficiency
- Professional judgment and discretion
- Must live near a major airport
- Must be based in the East or Central region in the U.S.
- Successful completion of background check including MVR, employment and education verification, and drug test required before hire
