Job Description
Assistant(e) technique de bloc opératoire préparant les salles et accompagnant les patients à l’Hôpital de La Providence. Suivi des interventions et entretien du matériel chirurgical.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms according to the different specialties: set up and installation
- Welcome patients
- Position patients for surgery in collaboration with the surgical and anesthesia teams
- Monitor the progress of procedures in collaboration with OR support technicians (TSO), the surgical team, and the anesthesia team
- Ensure documentation and traceability of each procedure and the equipment/instruments used
- Maintain and clean the operating rooms and equipment
Requirements:
- Experience working in an operating room is required
- Versatility across specialties: orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, plastic surgery
- Proficiency in hygiene and aseptic techniques
- Strong ability to prioritize and manage stress
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Flexibility
- Holding the ATSSO diploma is an asset
