Job Description
Payroll Analyst processing federal payroll and SPPS Web cases for USDA’s National Finance Center. Handling adjustments, discrepancies, quality control, and reprocessing.
Responsibilities:
- Process federal payroll or Special Payroll Processing System (SPPS) Web cases
- Support payroll processing for USDA National Finance Center
- Handle back pay, FEHB/FEGLI, OWCP, RCC, TSP, and salary adjustments
- Document cases and identify discrepancies
- Perform quality control and reprocessing tasks
- Support USDA, DHS, or other federal shared services environments
Requirements:
- US Citizen with Clearance Eligibility
- Experience with payroll processing at USDA National Finance Center
- Knowledge of back pay, FEHB/FEGLI, OWCP, RCC, TSP, and salary adjustments
- Experience supporting USDA, DHS, or other federal shared services environments preferred
- Relevant federal payroll and SPPS Web experience
- Experience with workload levels matching NFC’s environment
- Experience with case documentation, discrepancy identification, quality control, and reprocessing tasks
- 2 years of related experience in Accounting and/or Finance
- Knowledge of NFC Special Payroll Processing System preferred
