Job Description

Payroll Coordinator responsible for managing payroll processing and employee lifecycle for global clients at Safeguard Global. Ensuring compliance and timely payments while handling queries and documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • The Payroll Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the entire employment lifecycle of each worker at Safeguard Global.
  • Key responsibilities for this role involve daily query management, ensuring seamless, efficient, and compliant payroll processing for our clients in collaboration with internal/external providers, generating sales invoices, and ensuring timely and accurate worker payments.
  • Managing changes in employment contracts, including modifications after the initial onboarding such as salary adjustments or provided benefits.
  • Maintaining and storing all relevant worker documentation throughout the employment lifecycle, following in-country compliance and record-keeping guidelines.
  • Being the point of contact for worker queries.
  • Ensuring timely responses to queries received from workers, internal support teams, ICP/ICE, and clients.
  • Working through compliant offboards for all workers, whether on indefinite or fixed-term contracts; could involve voluntary or involuntary terminations.
  • Ensuring background checks are being completed as requested if not finalized prior to the first payroll through Implementation.
  • Accurate and timely processing of payroll payments to workers.
  • Maintaining a high level of knowledge on all of the company's payroll policies and governmental regulations impacting payroll preparation.
  • Investigating and correcting payroll reports, identifying out-of-balance payroll.
  • Performing necessary reviews and approving payroll reports against housed information and client input.
  • Maintaining KPIs, internal reporting, payroll schedules, and master payroll input on a periodic basis.
  • Working with clients to obtain/relay expert in-country requirements during the worker's lifecycle.
  • Managing the funding/billing process for payroll, completing charging sheets, and generating sales invoices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Payroll, understanding processing, salaries, deductions, and benefits.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous
  • Familiarity with payroll concepts and knowledge of local payroll legislation for supported countries would be beneficial
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and analytical acumen; adept at identifying, resolving, and mitigating issues
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively
  • Self-motivated individual with a proactive approach
  • Exceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
