Job Description
Payroll Specialist processing payroll for hourly staff and commission earners in a service-based team. Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and maintaining accurate payroll records.
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for hourly staff, commission earners, and tip-based employees on a regular schedule (biweekly)
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
- Maintain accurate employee and payroll records
- Manage payroll changes including new hires, terminations, promotions, deductions, and tip reporting
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of US payroll processing experience
- Experience with Booker and Gusto platforms is an advantage
- Knowledge of payroll regulations, including handling tips and commission-based pay
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
